Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 10 – Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn and Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia Ueno Atsushi signed the exchange of notes and accompanying documents on the extension of grant aid of JPY 1,001 million (about USD 7.2 million) on 10 December 2024.

"The grant assistance aims to implement the Economic and Social Development Programme and reflects Japan's steadfast support for the Royal Government of Cambodia's endeavours to promote socio-economic development It will also contribute to further strengthening and deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Dec. 10).
