Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 12 – Cambodia earned more than USD 573 million from the export of rubber products in the 11 months of 2024, according to a report seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Dec. 12)
According to the General Directorate of Rubber's report, revenue from the export of rubber as of November 2024 amounted to USD 568,276,050 while the export of rubberwood was USD 4,873,867.
The report also indicated that as of November 2024, the price of rubber was USD 1,662 per ton, an increase of USD 319 per ton, equivalent to a 23.7 per cent rise compared to the same period last year. The average export value of rubber in November 2024 was USD 231 per cubic meter.
In 2023, Cambodia earned approximately USD 537.9 million from the sale of rubber products, marking an increase of about USD 6.2 million, or 1.2 per cent, compared to 2022.
