Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 17 – Bridgette L. Walker, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the US Embassy in Cambodia, requested Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen to share his experiences in peace-seeking and ending conflict.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen received a courtesy call by Chargé d’Affaires a.i., of the US Embassy in Cambodia Bridgette L. Walker on Tuesday (Dec. 17) at the Senate.

In addition to discussions on bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and the United States (US), both sides addressed regional and global challenges, particularly ongoing conflicts in various countries.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen is widely regarded by Cambodians and international leaders as a pivotal figure in achieving peace and ending Cambodia’s past conflicts. Recently, through political party platforms and international parliamentary mechanisms, he has shared numerous strategies used to resolve conflicts in Cambodia.

Responding to the US Embassy official’s request, Samdech Techo offered insights that could contribute to resolving ongoing regional disputes. Samdech Techo also emphasised that, in matters of international conflict, Cambodia consistently adheres to the principles of international law and the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
