Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 23 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet reiterated the importance of cultivating a successful mindset as a key motivator for hard work in both academic and professional life. He advised that to succeed in work or competition, individuals must adopt a positive and determined outlook.

The premier spoke on Monday (Dec. 23) during his meeting with Grade A high school students at OCIC, Phnom Penh.

Samdech Thipadei said that attitude and mindset are crucial. If you want to compete in something, you must motivate yourself, cultivate the right mindset, and do what is necessary to achieve success.

“The words of Sao Sokha about the national football team’s performance resonate with me,” the premier stated. “He pointed out that while our team has the technique and speed to compete, what we lack is a winning mindset. Hearing that the opposing team is ranked number one often discourages us. However, by cultivating a mindset of victory, along with hard work and skill, we can push ourselves to succeed.”

Samdech Thipadei advised that when students enter the workforce or compete, they must embrace a mindset of success, remain positive, and strive to become valuable resources for the nation. He urged adherence to moral values, virtues, and good behaviour to serve as pillars for themselves, their families, and society in the future.
