Phnom Penh (FN), Dec. 26 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that the government’s efforts to protect territorial integrity, promote national development, and elevate Cambodia's presence on the international stage are ongoing and do not require vocal responses or confrontations on social media.

Instead, these efforts are carried out daily through concrete actions including strengthening human resources, bolstering Cambodia’s ownership, and safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty to independently determine its destiny.

The premier spoke on Thursday (Dec. 26) during a graduation of more than 1,000 students of the University of Human Resources, held at the National Institute of Education.

Samdech Thipadei underlined that protecting territorial integrity and managing border affairs are regular tasks performed through constructive and collaborative actions rather than through disputes on Facebook. He added that territorial protection requires negotiation and precise demarcation based on Cambodia’s legal maps.

At the same time, Samdech Thipadei underscored, “The government’s silence on Facebook does not imply inaction. We consistently work to protect and build the nation, strengthen territorial integrity, promote development, and advance Cambodia on the international stage. Every day, we focus on enhancing human resources, reinforcing Cambodia’s independence, sovereignty, and ability to determine its destiny.”

Samdech Thipadei added that true patriotism involves practical collaboration and meaningful work to achieve tangible results.
