Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 15 – Cambodia’s homegrown football shirt brand, Varaman, has been crowned the Best Shirt of 2024 by England’s Shirt of the Year programme. The announcement was made by General Sao Sokha, President of the Football Federation of Cambodia, on Wednesday (Jan. 15).

“This is surprising news and a source of pride for the entire Cambodian nation. The international recognition of Cambodian achievements is an honour and elevates the image of our people to the world,” General Sao Sokha underscored.

General Sao Sokha proudly said, “This is excellent news that we must promote. It is a story linked to the nation’s reputation and tourism, showcasing Cambodia through its products, the work of our talented youth, and the heritage, culture, and traditions of our people. This has all been achieved under the leadership of the Royal Government in this era of peace, led by Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet.”
