Phnom Penh (FN), Jan. 16 – Harmonie Yin, a 20-year-old rising star in Cambodian golf, has made history as the first Cambodian woman to achieve a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). Her passion, hard work, and talent have set a new standard for female golfers in Cambodia.
After just two years of intense dedication, Harmonie and her team reached the Ladies European Tour (LET) ACCESS Series—a milestone that often takes others significantly longer to achieve. Her journey has seen her progress from Cambodian and French national tournaments to international amateur competitions with WAGR recognition, and even to professional tournaments where she competed as an amateur.
Now, Harmonie is preparing for the LET Qualification. A high ranking in this qualification would grant her the opportunity to compete on the Ladies European Tour and earn invitations to some of the world’s most prestigious international tournaments.
Harmonie and her team are ready to face the challenges ahead. Recognizing her extraordinary talent and commitment, the Vattanac Group has proudly partnered with her, providing essential support for her future career. This partnership includes access to world-class training facilities at their award-winning golf resort, ensuring Harmonie has the resources she needs to reach new heights in her golfing journey.
