Kandal (FN), Feb. 11 – Cambodian Senate President, Samdech Techo Hun Sen unveiled that in in recent weeks, there was a plot to attack his residence in Takhmao with the intent to assassinate him.

Samdech Techo stated that he had been made aware of the plan in advance through a secret voice message he received. He urged all foreign entities to exercise caution when offering support that could be linked to terrorist activities.

Samdech Techo spoke on Tuesday (Feb. 11) during the inauguration ceremony of the school building and various achievements on the premises of Wat Preah Int Samki Thorma in Kandal province.

“Be warned—the plan to attack my Takhmao residence with a drone is real. Those involved must remember this and disappear from Takeo. Supporting such an attack threatens national security. Do not dare to harm or kill me,” Samdech Techo underscored.

Samdech Techo continued, “This is terrorism, and I urge all foreigners to be cautious about supporting any terrorist activities. I can confirm that in the past few weeks, there was a plot to send drones into my house.”

At the same time, Samdech Techo called on all foreign entities to refrain from interfering in Cambodia’s internal affairs, asserting that the nation must manage its own security.
