Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 20 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Rebecca Hunter, Director of Market Access of SpaceX - Starlink, on Thursday (Feb. 20) at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, Rebecca Hunter briefed Samdech Thipadei on the operations of SpaceX – Starlink’s services and highlighted that Cambodia is a top-priority destination for the company’s investment in 2025. Additionally, she informed the premier that her delegation would also have discussions with relevant ministries and institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia during this visit.

In response, Samdech Thipadei welcomed SpaceX – Starlink’s interest in exploring investment opportunities and establishing ties with the Royal Government of Cambodia. He also highlighted the royal government’s policy to develop the technology sector to meet the rapid technological advancements.

Furthermore, Samdech Thipadei encouraged Rebecca Hunter to continue to engage with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to explore potential investment opportunities in Cambodia.
