Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 22 – Meas Soksensan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, stated that the BVLGARI fashion show, hosted by the world-renowned luxury jewellery brand, was a significant event for Cambodia, bringing economic, tourism, and cultural benefits to the country.
The BVLGARI fashion show took place on 21 February 2025 at Bayon Temple in Siem Reap, with Cambodia’s First Lady, Pich Chanmony, attending as a distinguished guest.
Meas Soksensan highlighted that this event was made possible through the efforts of Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, as BVLGARI had various options for hosting the show but ultimately chose Cambodia.
He explained that due to Cambodia’s political stability, peace, and security, the company decided to hold the event in the Kingdom, using the occasion to showcase its latest products, engage with customers, and connect its long and illustrious history with Cambodia’s ancient temples, which also hold a rich and enduring legacy.
He further noted that hosting this event in Cambodia reflects the country’s transformation. The show brought together BVLGARI’s resources and clientele, including more than 470 celebrities from 11 countries. Their participation and social media engagement will contribute to Cambodia’s economic, tourism, and cultural development.
