Siem Reap (FN), Feb. 25 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged intellectuals to persevere in the face of challenges, emphasizing the importance of problem-solving in both studies and work. He stated that success comes from resilience and focusing on solutions rather than being swayed by others' opinions.
The premier spoke on Tuesday (Feb. 25) at the graduation ceremony of students of the University of South-East Asia in Siem Reap province.
Seizing the opportunity, the Prime Minister shared his practical experiences as valuable insights for intellectuals to apply in their studies and work. He stated, “As Prime Minister, I am no different from you—except that I bear greater responsibility. You, too, will face challenges in your work. The key is to never give up, seek solutions.”
In addition, Samdech Thipadei urged individuals not to fear being mistreated by others, emphasizing that what truly matters is whether we allow it. Instead of passively enduring criticism, he encouraged focusing on one’s work, demonstrating achievements, and maintaining a positive outlook.
At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stressed the importance of solution-oriented thinking over dwelling on problems. Success, he noted, comes from setting clear, positive goals and transforming negativity into motivation. He advised against being distracted by criticism, as true success is ultimately a reflection of one’s efforts.
