Siem Reap (FN), Feb. 25 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet revealed that the BVLGARI jewellery showcased in Siem Reap is valued at USD 150 million. He commended the security team for ensuring safety and order at the exhibition.
The premier spoke on Tuesday (Feb. 25) at the graduation ceremony of students of the University of South-East Asia in Siem Reap province.
On the occasion, the prime minister dismissed claims of insecurity in Cambodia, stating that the successful BVLGARI exhibition proved the country’s stability and safety—a point of national pride. He added that with major brands witnessing the success of such events, more are likely to follow.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that if a tourist destination were truly unsafe, visitors would not come. He praised the Siem Reap authorities for maintaining security and order. He added that while Cambodia’s situation is often misrepresented online, the reality speaks for itself.
