Siem Reap (FN), Feb. 25 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet shared his perspectives on effective work performance and how to respond to the needs of leaders, speaking on Tuesday (Feb. 25) at the graduation ceremony of students of the University of South-East Asia in Siem Reap province.

In addition, Samdech Thipadei stated that sharing work experiences and perspectives with colleagues and subordinates is comparable to competition, where efficiency and responsibility determine success.

Samdech Thipadei underscored, "Whatever task is completed or left unfinished must be reported step by step. In some places, if you don't report, your superiors won’t be aware of the progress. And don’t fear your boss—fear not doing the work, as that could lead to bigger issues."

In addition, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet further highlighted that individuals who aspire to succeed and play a significant role within an institution must demonstrate responsibility and complete tasks swiftly and efficiently.

Premier Hun Manet gave an example that even shop owners and chefs must compete with neighbouring businesses, let alone those working in state institutions.

Samdech Thipadei underlined that success comes from focusing on one's work rather than worrying about external opinions. He also reiterated a slogan he had introduced since his time in the military, "Make it fast, make it easy. If it's difficult, seek guidance."

The premier recounted an instance where he tested his staff on Friday evening. The first person requested to postpone the task until Monday, the second person got stuck in traffic but failed to inform anyone, while the third person got stuck in traffic but communicated the results effectively.
