Siem Reap (FN), Feb. 25 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet recalled the slogan he had implemented during his tenure as Commander-in-Chief of the Army, speaking on Tuesday (Feb. 25) at the graduation ceremony of students of the University of South-East Asia in Siem Reap province.

Samdech Thipadei elaborated on his leadership experience, explaining the meaning behind the slogan: "Make it fast, make it easy" refers to achieving results efficiently, avoiding unnecessary delays, taking quick notes to prevent forgetfulness, and prioritising important tasks. When handling critical work, less urgent or lower-priority tasks should be delegated to others—mirroring how the government balances centralisation and decentralisation.

The premier outlined key working principles: 1) Understand the concept clearly, 2) Strive to solve problems, 3) Align your ideas with those of your superiors. He emphasized that facing obstacles should not deter progress—reporting issues is essential for maintaining principles. He added that transparency in reporting, whether successes or failures, is crucial, urging individuals not to fear their superiors when doing so.

Samdech Thipadei continued that that these principles should be followed regardless of one’s position—whether as a leader, a subordinate, or a self-employed professional. These lessons, drawn from his personal work experience, were shared as valuable insights for graduates to apply in any career path.
