Phnom Penh (FN), Feb. 26 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Mehmet Celepoglu, Vice President at TotalEnergies for Oceania and Southeast Asia, on Wednesday (Feb. 26) at the Peace Palace.
During the meeting, Mehmet Celepoglu expressed his gratitude to Samdech Thipadei for the opportunity to pay a courtesy call and provided an overview of TotalEnergies’ global operations and its business vision in Cambodia.
Additionally, the vice president positively assessed Cambodia’s investment climate and expressed interest in the Royal Government’s sound policies and initiatives, particularly in the area of tax reform, which supports transparent and equal competition.
For his part, Samdech Thipadei welcomed Mehmet Celepoglu’s visit and highly valued TotalEnergies’ contributions to Cambodia’s socio-economic development. The premier highlighted various investment-friendly policies and incentives introduced by the Royal Government.
Samdech Thipadei also underscored that these are necessary tasks of the Royal Government to ensure a conducive investment climate, ensuring success and incentives for investors in Cambodia, and strengthening Cambodia’s regional and global competitiveness. Premier Hun Manet encouraged TotalEnergies to continue engaging with relevant ministries and institutions to maintain further success and address any challenges the company may face.
