Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 14 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet shared reports from Cambodian citizens in the United States about sharp price increases, particularly in food costs.
Speaking on Friday (Mar. 14) during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Cambodian Oknha Association annual meeting, Samdech Thipadei revealed that a bowl of noodles, which previously cost around USD 12, has surged to USD 25.
Samdech Thipadei stated, "I’m not commenting on another country's economy, but in Cambodia, we are working to stabilize prices and ensure economic growth while maintaining citizens’ living standards."
Samdech Thipade continued that Cambodia remains committed to price stability and protecting its citizens from inflationary pressures.
