Kandal (FN), Mar. 21 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that at the beginning of his mandate, he focused on outlining policies. However, this time, his speech differs because he must highlight the achievements resulting from the policies implemented at the start of his tenure.

Samdech Thipadei noted that he frequently meets citizens and students directly at the local level, often without prior notice, to monitor and oversee the implementation of the Royal Government’s policies.

The premier spoke on Friday (Mar. 21) at the inauguration of a school building and various achievements at Hun Sen Sereipheap High School, Takhmao City, Kandal Province.

Prime Minister Hun Manet also emphasised that moral education and respect for discipline are essential for young students. He recalled that during his first year at the US Military Academy, he was taught to pay attention to small tasks, such as folding a blanket properly.

Samdech also recalled that since childhood, his grandparents and parents had always taught him to be a good person, and this education has remained deeply ingrained in his heart to this day.

Samdech Thipadei further stressed that trust and strong relationships between teachers and students' guardians are crucial in enhancing students’ education. He noted that his speech aimed to share insights and offer encouragement to teachers, parents, and students.
