Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 29 – Cambodian Acting Head of State, Samdech Techo Hun Sen sent a condolence letter to Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra over the recent powerful earthquake on 28 March 2025.
"I am deeply saddened by the tragic news of destruction, including many deaths, many Injuries, damage to or destruction of property and infrastructure, caused by the heavy earthquake in Bangkok on 28 March 2025," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Saturday (Mar. 29).
"In this difficult time, on behalf of the people of Cambodia, I would like to express my deep sympathy and condolences to you and through you to the bereaved families, the Royal Government, and the people of Thailand for these great losses.
May the deceased rest in peace and the injured have speedy and complete recovery. Thanks to your leadership and the resilience of the Thai people, I sincerely hope that Thailand will fully recover from this terrible natural disaster very soon."
