Vientiane (FN), Apr. 5 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet led a delegation to lay wreaths and pay tribute to the late General Khamtay Siphandone, former President of Laos.

On that occasion, On behalf of the Cambodian government and people, Samdech Thipadei extended heartfelt condolences to Sonexay Siphandone, his family, the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, and the people of Laos on the loss of a distinguished statesman who dedicated his life to Laos' independence, progress, and prosperity.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet mourned the passing of former Lao President General Khamtay Siphandone, calling it the loss of a valued friend who greatly contributed to strengthening Cambodia-Laos relations and solidarity.

He offered prayers for General Khamtay Siphandone’s soul to rest in peace.
