Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 8 – Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), on 7 April 2025, chaired a TPAB Extraordinary Session on Cambodia’s responses to the newly imposed reciprocal tariffs by the US.

The Session was attended by inter-ministerial representatives, members of the TPAB Strategic Taskforce and the Secretariat, along with other representatives including from TAFTAC, and private sector, as well as AmCham’s high-level delegation, to exchange perspectives on trade impacts and explore short and medium-term suitable solutions to safeguard Cambodia’s economic interests and maintain strong US-Cambodia trade relations.
