Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 10 – Zhang Lianghong, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Kimou Environmental Holding Limited, expressed the company’s interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet received a courtesy call by Zhang Lianghong on 9 April 2025 at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, Zhang Lianghong briefed Samdech Thipadei on the company's operations. Kimou Environmental Holding Limited, a joint-stock company registered in Hong Kong, has extensive experience in developing large-scale industrial parks with a strong emphasis on environmentally sustainable solutions. He noted that Cambodia presents promising potential for future investments.

For his part, Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed the company’s interest and underscored the Royal Government’s focus on promoting sustainable development, protecting the environment, and improving citizens’ livelihoods. He underscored the introduction of various policies, mechanisms, and incentives aimed at attracting foreign investment, particularly in the production and supply chain sectors.

Samdech Thipadei encouraged the company to consider investing in Cambodia’s supply chain sector to help increase added value and enhance the country’s competitiveness. He also recommended that the company continue discussions with relevant ministries and institutions to gain further insights into investment opportunities in Cambodia.
