Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 18 – The Chinese side reaffirmed its continued support for the development of Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone to drive the development of Preah Sihanouk province, and pledged to encourage more capable Chinese enterprises to invest in Cambodia, according to the outcomes seen by Fresh News on Friday (Apr. 18).
Furthermore, the Chinese side also expressed strong support for Cambodia's efforts to advance the Funan Techo Integrated Water Resources Management Project.
Cambodian and China firmly committed to upholding rules-based multilateral trading system that is open, transparent, inclusive, and non-discriminatory, while jointly promoting the continuous advancement of WTO rules, as well as trade and investment liberalisation and facilitation.
The two sides agreed to continue to give full play to Cambodia-China Free Trade Agreement, Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, ASEAN-China Free Trade Area, and actively promote the signing of ASEAN-China Free Trade Area 3.0 Upgrade Protocol.
