Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 20 – Marc Bernhard MdB, Member of the Bundestag Federal Republic of Germany, sent a letter to Cambodian Senate President, Samdech Techo Hun Sen to extend his warmest greetings and belated best wishes on the occasion of the Khmer New Year.

"I would like to extend my warmest greetings and belated best wishes to you and the people of Cambodia on the occasion of the Khmer New Year," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Sunday (Apr. 20).

"It is with great respect that I acknowledge your longstanding contributions to Cambodia's political and social development. The progress achieved in recent years under your leadership is noteworthy, and I commend your enduring commitment to the stability and prosperity of your country.

As a Member of the German Bundestag, I wish you continued success in your work as President of the Senate and in your ongoing efforts to serve the Cambodian people."

For his part, Samdech Techo would like to extend his profound appreciation for the warmest greetings and belated best wishes to him and the people of Cambodia on the occasion of the Khmer New Year.

"I take note of your compliment and recognition of my sustained contributions to the political and social development of Cambodia. The progress Cambodia has achieved in recent years is attributed to a significant extent to the good relations and collective dedication between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Federal Republic of Germany to the mutual benefit of our two peoples", according to the response letter seen by Fresh News on Sunday (Apr. 20).

"Correspondingly, I would like to extend my sincere wishes for your continued success in your role as a Member of the German Bundestag."
