(Takeo): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that the Royal Government has prioritised the well-being of its citizens since birth, speaking on Tuesday (Apr. 29) at the inauguration ceremony for the official use of National Roads No. 31, No. 33, and No. 41, held in Takeo Province.

Samdech Thipadei underscored, “In considering the living conditions of civil servants, the armed forces, and all citizens, we have provided support even before children are born. Many citizens, workers, and families have benefited from state assistance starting from pregnancy through to when their children reach two years of age. Although Cambodia may not yet have as many opportunities as more developed countries, in terms of thoughtful policies, we have made significant efforts. Even with limited resources, we have established programs to deliver benefits. As the state becomes wealthier, the available funding also grows, meaning that we have made efforts to address almost all aspects of our citizens’ lives.”

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei underlined that among the six priority policies introduced by the government, three focus on improving citizens' health, providing free vocational training, and increasing the maximum salary, among others. He added that the government remains deeply concerned about the well-being of its people, regardless of the scale.
