(Phnom Penh): The American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) proudly announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Royal Group Securities PLC (RGS), aimed at enhancing educational and professional opportunities for AUPP students and faculty members.

The MoU was officially signed by Malcolm McIver, President of AUPP, and Seng Chan Thoeun, CEO of RGS Nkgt, in a ceremony attended by esteemed guests, including Sou Socheat, Hong Sok Hou, and Din Pichar.

With a strong commitment to fostering the next generation of professionals, RGS will provide AUPP students with valuable internship opportunities, enabling them to gain essential hands-on experience within RGS’s dynamic operations. Furthermore, faculty members from AUPP will have the opportunity to work alongside RGS on joint consulting projects, promoting an exchange of expertise that will mutually benefit both institutions.

The MoU also encompasses innovative learning experiences, including company immersion sessions, where students and staff can engage directly with RGS operations, as well as guest lectures from RGS senior management. Together, AUPP and RGS aim to co-host finance-related conferences in Cambodia, creating platforms for knowledge sharing and professional networking.

During the event, an engaging session was held for AUPP students highlighting the mechanics of the Cambodian Securities Exchange Market. Participants learned about trading practices and market operations, gaining insights that will serve them in their professional endeavors.

This partnership underlines AUPP's commitment to fostering robust academic collaborations and providing our students with comprehensive educational experiences.
