(Phnom Penh): The Royal Government Spokesperson Unit has the honour to inform the public that in the morning of 2 May 2025, at the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the CDC, and Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, led the Ad Hoc Cambodia-US Bilateral Relations Coordination Working Group via virtual conference to meet with the United States Trade Representative (USTR), led by Sarah Ellerman, Assistant USTR for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
"The discussion focused on the work progress and the preparation for the upcoming bilateral negotiations, which is due to take place on 14-15 May 2025 in Washington, D.C," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Friday (May 2).
"The Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, will continue to cooperate closely with the United States of America to achieve a mutually beneficial trade and investment relationship."
