On this occasion, Sun Chanthol also highlighted the national scope of Cambodia’s seaport sector, including inland and maritime transport systems, the integration of logistics infrastructure, and the broader logistics industry—emphasising their interdependent benefits and collective role in enhancing the potential of Cambodia’s ports and maritime transport services.
Following the presentation and Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol’s remarks, the MAERSK Cambodia delegation expressed strong interest and high confidence in the capabilities and operations of the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, as well as in Cambodia’s wider seaport and waterborne transport sectors.
In conclusion, Sun Chanthol expressed hope that the visiting delegation would share their positive experience of Cambodia’s investment climate within their business networks, thereby attracting greater investment to the country, creating more job opportunities for Cambodians, and contributing to national economic growth.
