(Phnom Penh): Phan Rim, Spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, confirmed that Bridge No. 28, the tallest bridge in Cambodia, constructed as part of the National Road No. 10 project, has been fully completed and is now open to the public as of 15 May 2025.
Phan Rim stated, “Bridge No. 28, currently the tallest bridge in Cambodia under the National Road No. 10 project, has been officially opened for public use as of 15 May 2025, following the successful completion of construction, which has now reached 100%.”
He added that the public can now travel across the bridge, stop for photos, and enjoy the scenic views of the towering, straight structure surrounded by mist, lush green forests, and the cool, clear waters of the Ruessei Chrum River.
It is worth noting that Bridge No. 28 reaches a height of 90 metres, stretches 537 metres in length and spans 10 metres in width, crosses the Russei Chrum River in Chay Louk village, O’Som commune, Veal Veng district of Pursat province.
