(Pursat): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet affirmed that, regardless of external commentary, the Royal Government remains resolute in its commitment to serving the people and developing the nation.
The premier spoke on Saturday (May 17) during the inauguration ceremony of a new three-storey school building, along with other achievements, at Hun Sen Promaoy High School in Pursat Province.
“We are not concerned about what others say; we continue to directly address the issues our people face. Say what you will, but the truth is that we remain close to the citizens and continue our efforts as we always have,” the premier underscored.
At the same time, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his gratitude to the working group assigned to assist Pursat Province, as well as to officials at all levels, for their unwavering dedication—whether it is an election season or not.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Hun Manet also encouraged local authorities to maintain their efforts in serving the public and resolving community challenges. He also noted that following the war, people were left with no schools, roads, or employment opportunities, which made life extremely difficult. It is for this reason that the Royal Government has made significant efforts to address the many challenges of the post-war period.
