(Phnom Penh): Cambodia generated USD 24 million from ticket sales to the Angkor Archaeological Park in the first five months of 2025, according to a press release issued by Angkor Enterprise on Monday (Jun. 2).
In May, 42,767 foreign tourists purchased tickets to visit Angkor Archaeological Park, representing a 3.71 per cent increase. This surge in visitors generated USD 2.3 million, up 3.10 per cent.
Over the past five months, ticket sales for entrance to Koh Ker Temple recorded 11,499 visitors, generating an income of USD 172,485. Beng Mealea Temple welcomed 7,552 visitors during the same period, generating USD 75,520 in ticket revenue. Phnom Kulen received 570 visitors, bringing in USD 2,850 from ticket sales. Meanwhile, boat ticket sales over the five-month period in 2025 totalled USD 792,918.
