(Phnom Penh): Sin Chansereyvutha, Secretary of State and Spokesperson for the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia, confirmed to Fresh News on Tuesday afternoon (Jun. 24) that as of now, there have been no suspensions of flights between Cambodia and Thailand. Flights between Phnom Penh–Bangkok and Siem Reap–Bangkok are still operating as usual.

He stated, “As of this hour, there have been no flight suspensions between Phnom Penh and Bangkok, nor between Siem Reap and Bangkok. No flights have been cancelled either. In fact, passenger numbers between Siem Reap and Bangkok have even increased this week compared to last week.”

Currently, there are 78 weekly flights between Phnom Penh and Bangkok, operated by nine airlines (including three local carriers). For the Siem Reap–Bangkok route, there are 38 weekly flights operated by three airlines.
