(Preah Vihear): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen affirmed he is in good health and ready to lead troops or head to the frontline if necessary, speaking on Thursday (Jun. 26) during his meeting with citizens who had fled from the tense Cambodia–Thailand border areas in Preah Vihear province.

"Hun Sen's health is excellent, so do not assume that Hun Sen is weak. Even now, if I were called upon to command the army or to join the fight, I could do so," Samdech Techo underscored.

Samdech continued, "I underwent a full medical check-up, and everything is fine. However, I specifically requested a heart examination.”

On the occasion, Samdech Techo explained that his request for a heart check was prompted by the passing of his elder brother in 2022 due to a heart attack. Despite no known history of heart disease in his family, this incident led him to make the request, which the doctor approved.
