(Preah Vihear): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen warned that if Thailand permits exiled Cambodian opposition leaders to operate on its soil, it would breach ASEAN’s fundamental principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of member states.

Samdech Techo spoke on Friday (Jun. 27) during a meeting with members of the provincial, city, district, commune, and sangkat councils in Preah Vihear province.

Samdech Techo stated, “I saw that Seng Sary analysed that Thailand might be playing multiple cards—first, second, third, fourth—by allowing opposition leaders to enter Thai territory. If Thailand is truly that reckless, it would be a serious breach of ASEAN’s principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of fellow member states.”
