(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Senate President and President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) emphasised that expanding Cambodia’s infrastructure reflects the Royal Government’s unwavering commitment to serving the people and delivering tangible results.

Samdech Techo spoke at the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the CPP, held on Saturday morning (Jun. 28) at the CPP headquarters.

“The development and expansion of physical infrastructure, such as border infrastructure, irrigation systems, roads, bridges, electricity, canals, ports, airports, telecommunications, and information technology, are vigorously advanced. All these concrete results demonstrate that the government is effectively implementing its commitments to the people with success,” Samdech Techo underscored.

All the achievements over the past 46 years since the victory over the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime have profound significance for Cambodia’s stability and long-term progress. He noted that although the road ahead remains long, the nation's aspiration to build a civilised homeland free from the re-emergence of past tragedies remains firm.

In this context, Samdech Techo Hun Sen affirmed that time has tested the party's strength, determination, spirit, and capability, proving that it can overcome all future obstacles and hardships in building and defending the nation based on strong national unity.
