(Phnom Penh): Soeum Bunrith, Deputy Governor of Battambang Province and spokesperson for the Battambang Provincial Administration, said that from 27-29 June 2025, the number of Cambodian citizens who crossed into Cambodia through the Battambang border crossing was 3,812, including 1,708 women and 124 children.

The report details that on 27 June 2025, there were 1,344 people, 611 women, and 41 children, including 783 workers, 363 women, who entered Cambodia.

On 28 June 2025, there were 1,301 people, 553 women, and 50 children, including 855 workers, 366 women, who returned to the country.

On 29 June 2025, there were 1,167 people, 544 women, and 33 children, including 980 workers, 455 women, who entered Cambodia through the Battambang border crossing.

Battambang province has five border gates facing Thailand, including two international gates and three regional gates, including Doung International Gate, Phnom Dei International Gate, and the O’Anlak Regional Gate, O’Romduol Regional Gate, and the 400 Regional Gate.

The provincial administration spokesman stated that as Cambodian workers flock to return to the country, the Battambang provincial administration has collaborated with several provinces to help transport Cambodian workers returning through the Daung international border crossing to cities, districts in the province, and other provinces, including Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Takeo, Pursat, Siem Reap, etc., using many vehicles to facilitate the return of workers back to their respective hometowns.
