(Prey Veng): Senate President Hun Sen stated that Cambodia has endured much to reach its current state, particularly through the Win-Win policy to end war and sustained efforts across all sectors.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke on Thursday (Jul. 3) during a meeting with students and teachers at the Chea Sim Komchaymear Education and Training Centre in Prey Veng province.

"In the past, those who were more knowledgeable taught those with less knowledge, and the less knowledgeable taught those who knew nothing. Today, however, our human resources have been developed through more than 40 years of effort. […] Our development has progressed significantly. It does not happen by chance, but through collective hard work," the Senate president underscored.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen added that Cambodia has made tireless efforts across all sectors, and the journey to reach this point has not been easy. Considerable efforts were also made to bring an end to the war.

On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed pride in Cambodia’s long-standing stability. He noted that since 1993, the country has enjoyed over 30 years of peace, with 20 years under the reigns of both the late king father and the current king. This stability has enabled the Royal Government to drive economic growth, averaging 7% annually before the COVID-19 pandemic, which is all rooted in the success of the Win-Win policy, which he urged all Cambodians to continue safeguarding.
