(Phnom Penh): On 8 July 2025, AirAsia Cambodia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambodian Premier League champions, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Football Club, establishing itself as the club’s airline partner for their upcoming tour to Kuala Lumpur. The partnership reinforces a shared vision to elevate Cambodian football to the regional stage.
AirAsia will fly the 51-member squad and team officials from Phnom Penh to Kuala Lumpur on 14 July 2025 for a pre-season tour. As part of the club’s pre-season training and development program, the tour will feature intensive training sessions and friendly matches against prominent Malaysian clubs. This initiative provides valuable exposure, fosters national pride, and strengthens regional ties through sports diplomacy.
The partnership reflects AirAsia’s core value of “Dare to Dream” and aligns with its broader mission to empower athletes and unite Asean communities through sports.
