(Kampong Chhnang): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed strong hope and confidence in the patriotism, love for the nation, and loyalty of all members of the armed forces in safeguarding the country's territorial integrity. Samdech Thipadei emphasised their vital role as a strong force dedicated to protecting the homeland and its people.

The premier spoke on Monday (Jul. 14) during the inauguration of achievements at the Royal Gendarmerie Training Centre (Phnom Chum Sen Reak Reay) coinciding with the 32nd anniversary celebration of the Royal Gendarmerie Day (14 July 1993 – 14 July 2025) in Kampong Chhnang Province.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet encouraged the gendarmerie forces to uphold the spirit of perseverance and resilience, enhance their technical and operational capacity, and continually improve their skills and professionalism. He stressed that their shared mission is to safeguard peace, ensure the safety and security of the people and society, and build a strong foundation for the nation’s sustained development.

“I have strong hope and confidence in the patriotism, national devotion, and loyalty of all members of the armed forces. I also extend my appreciation and reaffirm my commitment to continue providing both moral and material support to the Royal Gendarmerie, enabling them to serve as an effective, high-quality, and honourable law enforcement force,” the premier underscored.

Samdech Thipadei urged the Royal Gendarmerie to remain a disciplined and highly professional force, demonstrating unwavering loyalty to the nation and its people. He called for strict adherence to all rules, regulations, military codes of conduct, and ethical standards of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, while preserving the traditions and honour of the national military, ultimately becoming a resilient and reliable force in defence of the country.
