(Kratie): In a coordinated operation to crack down online scams, the Kratie Provincial Unity Command, in collaboration with local authorities and relevant agencies, conducted a raid on 16 July 2025 targeting a suspected online scam operation concealed inside a rented house in the 2 December Commune, Snuol District.

During the operation, the task force found 312 foreign nationals from Viet Nam, Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, China, and Myanmar, including 56 women. Authorities also seized 329 computers and 1,630 mobile phones as evidence.

At present, all detainees and the confiscated evidence have been handed over to the Kratie Provincial Police for further legal proceedings. Authorities have vowed to take the strictest legal action against the ringleaders involved in this online scam.
