China followed with $1.3 trillion, with the WTTC projecting it will lead within a decade, thanks to rising incomes and tourism-friendly policies.

Europe also performed strongly, with Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain in the top 10, supported by cultural appeal and strong transport networks.
