(Phnom Penh): At the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and to attend the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum in Hanoi from 8 to 10 June 2026, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Sunday (Jun. 7).

Samdech Thipadei will be accompanied by First Lady Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, and Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn, as well as other ministers, key government officials, and business representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the Cambodian Oknha Association.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, during which the two leaders will exchange views on ways to deepen bilateral relations as the two countries will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year. The two prime ministers are expected to touch on regional, and international issues of common interest and concern.

During the visit, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will pay courtesy calls on Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam, and Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. He will also meet with Permanent member of Vietnamese Party Central Committee's Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

Samdech Thipadei will deliver a keynote speech at the opening session of the "ASEAN Future Forum" under the theme "Shape QuraFuture Together: Peace, Prosperity, People-Centered", which emphasizes promoting trade, investment, and economic cooperation within ASEAN.
