(Phnom Penh): Cambodia registered 37 investment projects worth approximately USD 570 million in May 2026, with the projects expected to generate more than 25,000 jobs, according to a press release issued by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on Thursday (Jun. 11).

According to the CDC, 29 projects with a combined investment value of approximately USD 544 million were directly registered by the council and are expected to generate around 23,000 jobs.

These include 16 projects located outside Special Economic Zones (SEZs), two SEZ development projects, and 11 investment projects within SEZs.

Meanwhile, the Provincial-Municipal Investment Sub-Committees approved eight additional projects valued at around USD 27 million, which are expected to create approximately 2,200 jobs.
