(Phnom Penh): The Documentation Centre of Cambodia (DC-Cam) announced the establishment of its new Centre for Peace in Southeast Asia, the Preah Sarak Munti.

The centre sits on the pristine grounds of the Royal residence in Stung Treng province, Cambodia, which is located near the border with Laos.

According to DC-Cam, the centre was rebuilt in honor of the late King Father and the Queen Mother of Cambodia and drawing upon world leaders' efforts in the region, the centre aims to support peacebuilding efforts along the Cambodia-Thailand border and other areas of the Southeast Asian region.
