(Phnom Penh): The Fullbright and Undergraduate State Alumni Association of Cambodia (FUSAAC) with the support from The Embassy of the United States of America, will organize the annual “Major and Career Fair 2026” on Sunday, 28 June, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in Phnom Penh, under the distinguished presidency of Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, Permanent Vice President of the Cambodian Red Cross and Chief Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association of Cambodia.
The primary objective of this event is to provide opportunities for young people, particularly high school and university students, to explore higher education, institutions and related educational organizations, as well as scholarship, internship, and employment opportunities.
Each year, the event attracts an average of approximately 2,500 participants and features keynote speeches, exhibition booths, presentations, workshops, and panel discussions that bring together participants and professionals from key sectors.
he Major and Career Fair 2026 under the theme “Career in Transition”, is an important topic as Cambodia moves toward upper-middle-income status by 2030, building a skilled and future-ready workforce remains a national priority. However, gaps between education and labor market demands persist, particularly in digital, technical, and industry relevant skills. Career in Transition highlights the importance of empowering local talent as the foundation of sustainable growth and national strength.
Hence, this year’s theme reflects Cambodia’s evolving landscape, where digital transformation, economic diversification, and global integration are reshaping the future of work. The theme also emphasizes the need for greater awareness and preparedness for changes in career development. driven by the evolution of technology, economic transformation, and emerging work environments.
