(Phnom Penh): Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, sent a congratulatory letter to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and Senate President, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the CPP, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (Jun. 29).
In the letter, Deputy Chairman Tahir Budagov stated, “I cordially congratulate you and members of your party on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People’s Party, the leading political force of your country. The contributions made for the country and people by your party, which plays an important role in the successful implementation of policies aimed at the sustainable socio-economic development and increasing international reputation of Cambodia are undeniable.”
He emphasised, “It is gratifying that cooperation between our parties is further strengthened against the backdrop of the successful development of sincere friendship relations between Azerbaijan and Cambodia based on mutual respect and shared interests, both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations.”
He continued, “Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude for the active participation of your party delegation in the international conference on “Regional Contribution to Global Security: Peacebuilding in the South Caucasus” held in Shusha on June 15, 2026. I believe that with our joint efforts, relations between our parties will continue to develop successfully, both bilaterally and on international platforms, for the benefit of our countries and peoples.”
