(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), sent a congratulatory letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Jun. 30).

In the letter, Samdech Techo stated, “On behalf of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and my own behalf, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the people of the People's Republic of China (PRC) on the auspicious celebration of the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC.”

Samdech Techo emphasised, “I highly commend the CPC's new model of party-to-party relationships through enhancing mutual respect, mutual learning and mutual trust among countries, political parties and peoples to strive for global peace and prosperity. Under the CPC's leadership, the PRC has been playing an increasingly constructive role in promoting peace and dialogue in regional and international affairs.”

“I warmly welcome the CPC's Path of Peaceful Development. Your Excellency's global initiatives, including the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the Global Development Initiative (GDI), Global Security Initiative (GSI), and Global Civilization Initiative (GCI), reflect China's constructive contributions to addressing common global challenges and fostering a community with a shared future for mankind,” the CPP president added.

Samdech Techo continued, “I would like to congratulate the PRC on its impressive achievements in accordance with the 14th Five-Year Plan (2020-2025), and I firmly believe that under the wise and brilliant leadership of the CPC, with Your Excellency as the core leader, the PRC will successfully implement the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) in order to move toward achieving the Second Centenary Goal of building a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious by 2049.”

Samdech Techo concluded, “I would also like to highly value the long-standing friendship between our two parties and two countries, reaffirming the ironclad friendship and shared vision of building an All-Weather Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future in the New Area, which elevated bilateral relations to a new height.”
