(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), sent a letter of appreciation to Russian Ambassador to Cambodia Anatoly Borovik, expressing his gratitude for the congratulatory message on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the CPP, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Jul. 2).

In the letter, Samdech Techo stated, “I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your message of congratulations and best wishes to me, my family, and the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party.”

Samdech Techo emphasised, “I highly value Your Excellency's high evaluation of the CPP’s leadership role over the past seven decades in the struggle to liberate, rebuild, and develop our nation, as well as your recognition of and kind support for the CPP’s achievements for our country and people.

I am delighted to note that the spirit of solidarity between our two parties remains steadfast, and that the fruitful cooperation between our legislative and executive bodies continues to grow from strength to strength.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for the continued prosperity and well-being of the people of Russia, and for your country's greater success,” the letter concluded.
