(Phnom Penh): Cambodia exported 630,319 tonnes of milled rice to international markets during the first six months of 2026, generating more than USD 367 million in export revenue, according to a report from the Cambodia Rice Federation seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Jul. 8).

The rice reached 64 international markets through exports from 60 companies.

Exports to 32 European countries totalled 179,828 tonnes, generating USD 121.73 million. Exports to China, Hong Kong, and Macau reached 170,483 tonnes, valued at USD 99.67 million. Meanwhile, five ASEAN member states imported 228,780 tonnes, valued at USD 98.90 million.

Exporters shipped the remaining 51,228 tonnes to 24 other markets, including countries in Africa, the Middle East, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, generating USD 46.80 million.

By rice variety, fragrant rice accounted for 59.81 per cent of total exports, followed by long-grain white rice at 22.58 per cent, parboiled rice at 1.82 per cent, organic rice at 1.24 per cent, broken rice of all grades at 14.35 per cent, and other rice varieties at 0.20 per cent.

In addition to milled rice, Cambodia exported 3,176,561 tonnes of wet paddy rice during the same period, with an estimated export value of USD 713.42 million.
