(China): China's New Dazheng Property Group Co., Ltd. (New Dazheng) expressed its intention to establish an Investment Operations Centre in Cambodia to facilitate and attract greater Chinese investment.
New Dazheng Chairman Li Maoshun paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet in Shanghai on 17 July 2026.
During the meeting, Li briefed the prime minister on New Dazheng's business operations, which focus on urban public space enhancement, property management, and smart city development. He also highlighted the company's partnerships with more than 100 Chinese universities.
According to Li, the company has previously explored investment opportunities in Cambodia in collaboration with local partners and is now working to establish an Investment Operations Centre that will provide Chinese investors with information and support to expand investment in the country.
He also expressed interest in partnering with Cambodian universities to create more opportunities for Cambodian students to pursue higher education in China.
In response, Prime Minister Hun Manet welcomed New Dazheng's investment plans and its collaboration with Cambodian partners, saying the proposed Investment Operations Centre would help showcase Cambodia's investment potential and business opportunities to Chinese investors.
On educational cooperation, Samdech Thipadei reaffirmed that education remains one of the Royal Government's top priorities. He noted that many Cambodian students have received scholarships to study in China and have returned to contribute to Cambodia's socio-economic development.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei encouraged New Dazheng to continue working closely with Cambodian partners and relevant ministries to identify and pursue concrete investment opportunities in the kingdom.
New Dazheng is a leading third-party property services company that specializes not only in residential properties and housing estates but also in managing public buildings and smart city infrastructure.
