(Phnom Penh): Cambodia exported approximately USD 1 billion worth of vehicle tires during the first half of 2026, marking a 55 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2025, according to the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.

Cambodia-made vehicle tires have gained recognition for their quality and compliance with international standards, strengthening demand in key export markets, including the United States, Brazil, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, South Africa, and Mexico. The growth reflects strong international demand, government support for manufacturing, and Cambodia’s expanding tire industry.

Cambodia currently has eight tire factories operating in special economic zones across Svay Rieng, Preah Sihanouk, and Kratie provinces, contributing to economic growth and job creation.
